We own a well-established specialist engineering business in Avondale, Auckland. Our website was very old and outdated, it did not promote our business nor showcase our work well at all.
Our primary motivation for updating our website was for recruitment purposes. When trying to attract good talent to our business we expected that candidates would view our website to better understand the nature of our work, we wanted to present in a way that would be appealing to candidates.

The key to a great website is a clear vision.
To create a website you need a clear vision of what you want the site to achieve.
Then you need someone to put that vision into place.
I found the perfect person to do that: Marion of My Virtual Assistant.
Due to COVID travel restrictions, I was refocusing my business. Marion was recommended to me and on making contact I explained to Marion what I wanted to achieve and how I believed I could best achieve that.
She took those ideas and came up with a couple of design ideas. We selected one, and it soon became apparent that it was not quite right. So we pondered some more, came up with another concept, and that ticked all the boxes.
One of my requirements was that I wanted to be able to amend the website whenever I wanted. Marion developed some standards, and instructions, for me to follow. Now I amend the site and Marion’s standards ensure uniformity in picture size, font size, and colours.

When we took over Grasslands Howick, the business came with a website that was very dated and difficult to update.

I have toiled away with my websites for years and as a boat designer and builder, I wanted to be able to make updates with regular news and advances.

The Mountfort Estate Agents - Ray White Eastern group comprises seven offices, with individual websites for each office. Any changes to one site must be duplicated across the other six.

Running a local rental property company means constantly keeping our website updated with the latest available properties, allowing prospective tenants to see what's currently available for rent.
Before I found Marion, I struggled to find the time to regularly maintain our website and sometimes had disappointed clients on the other end of the phone when they discovered a property they had seen on our website had already been rented out.

Don't know how I've ever managed without Marion
I didn't even know what a Virtual Assistant was until a few weeks ago, and now I don't know how I've ever managed without one! Or more specifically, without Marion.
