The New Zealand Virtual Assistant Awards 2023 happened on Saturday 23 September, and what an awesome night celebrating incredible Virtual Assistant’s from around the country.
 
The VA Foundry with Sam + Jo absolutely and completely knocked it out of the park yet again, making us all feel like A-list celebrities at a top-notch Hollywood-style event.
 
FMG Stadium was the perfect venue and catching up with wonderful industry peers is always an absolute delight, along with the event providing a fabulous opportunity to make some new Virtual Assistant friends.
 
Very cool having special guest Chris Hemsworth join us (wink!), along with a few llamas – the evening wouldn’t be complete without llamas!
 
Massive shout out to all the aahhmazing sponsors, judges, organisers, and of course the wonderful Anita Burgess from Wainui Creative who captured the whole night on camera.
 
A very special evening full of worthy nominees, and well-deserved award winners.
 
All in all, an outstanding evening of love, laughter, excitement, friendship, and comradery… even if there were one too many dodgy jokes (!) from our fantabulous MC Jason Tiller, from Rocketspark!
 
A super-fun evening from start to finish.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to say MASSIVE congratulations to Gabby Simpson from Allsorted Admin, who took out the 2023 VA Legacy Award.  I feel honoured to hand over my 2022 crown to such a worthy winner.
